DON’T FEAR, DEAR

Don’t fear, dear,

I do no harm, I promise,

For one eve let me sit beside you.

 

She coldly stares, and her

Eyes fixed to her feet

For a while, and next she beams.

 

‘Okay, it’s done,’ she flashes,

So we sit side by side under the orange sky,

And lazily eye the hazy hill.
